Ingredients

  • Butterscotch biscuits pack of 24 (roughly depends how big the tin is that you are making in)

  • 125grams unsalted butter

  • 250grams of dark chocolate

  • White sugar 1/4 cups

  • Water

  • Thick cream

Biscuit base

1. Crush all of the biscuits into tiny pieces

2.Combine with butter slightly

3.Put the mixture into the tin and press it down so that it is levelled

4.Put in the fridge for 30mins

Caramel

1.Put the sugar into a pan or pot

2.Pour water in so that is completely covering the sugar

3.Put the fire on fairly high

4.Wait for it to bubble and create colour on the sides and swirl it so it levels up

5.Once it is a rich colour and smells sweet take it off the fire

6.Quickly stir in about 3 or 4 tablespoons of cream or as many as it takes to get the colour you want. (it may look really weird when you stir the cream but that is normal)

7.Pour it straight on top of the biscuit base in the tin so it does not crystallise

8.Keep in the fridge for at least 1 hour

Dark chocolate

1.Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or on the fire

2.Let it cool and then pour it into the tin on top of caramel and biscuit base and put in the fridge for 10minutes at least.
